Job Description - Solution Developers:
Design application on big insight and streams on cloud to extract, process and storage incoming streams of data
Interact / discuss technical details and provide guidance on architecture to clients
Participate in daily scrum meetings and monthly review meetings - to present project status and risks
Discuss with project stakeholders to streamline the requirements, conduct technical feasibility and explain / present to clients the findings
Development of code based on approved architecture using IBM big data tools
Create Project Documents - such as technical design, testing strategy, test cases. Etc

Skills Required:
At least 2
years of hands on development experience on Hadoop platform with at least one project implemented using IBM Big Insight tool.
Demonstrated work experience with the Map Reduce programming model and Hadoop Distributed File Systems (HDFS).
Experience developing software with IBM Streams, including familiarity with JSP/ JSON/ AJAX.
Familiarity with IBM Big Data architecture and data integration concepts on ETL, Data Warehousing, and other basic DB technologies.
Experience with server setup on Linux.
Solid understanding of REST architecture style and its application to well performing Web sites for global usage.
Have a good understanding of Agile development practices.
Excellent communication, self-organizing skills
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
