Lead, co-lead, and advise manufacturing teams, demonstrate advanced comprehensive manufacturing knowledge, and integrate manufacturing technology or processes across several disciplines.
Integrate the total impact of manufacturing technology as it applies to advanced or new manufacturing solutions for a safe environment while balancing cost, quality, and delivery.
Develop and drive standardization for manufacturing.
Establish and maintain the balanced triangle of Scope, Schedule and Resources as part of Project Management.
Advise and recommend long term resolutions to systemic manufacturing problems, collaborate on and solve complex manufacturing issues, and provide solutions across the organization network.
Provider interface and leadership with indirect suppliers.
Select manufacturing equipment which meets the organization's manufacturing specifications and meets the project or program needs, as part of Equipment/Capital Procurement.
Demonstrate capability in organizing and improving the steps of how workflow should occur by using the current documented tools, processes and key practices used to drive improvements within the business to show a common framework for manufacturing functional excellence within the company, as part of Manufacturing Business Model Application.
Lead the integration of the manufacturing process design and product design interactions to ensure the product design can be manufactured in the most efficient manner.
Champion and model proactive and fundamental health and safety behaviors by identifying, reporting and participating in actions to improve health and safety in order to build an interdependent culture and contribute to an injury-free workplace.
Manage strategic suppliers using the agreed process with established work plan, senior sponsor meetings, and scorecards.
Define and evaluate a collaborative relationship with a Category Partners List supplier to deliver value to Cummins and the supplier.
QualificationsSkillsExperience and Education:
Positions require a Master's degree in Manufacturing, Materials or Industrial Engineering, or related field and 4 years of experience as a Manufacturing, Machining, Materials or Tools Engineer, or related position.
Alternatively, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Materials or Industrial Engineering, or related field and 6 years of experience as a Manufacturing, Machining, Materials or Tools Engineer, or related position.
Experience to include:
Integrate manufacturing technology or processes; Balance cost, quality, and delivery; Manufacturing Project Management tools; Provide solutions to systemic manufacturing problems; Equipment/Capital Procurement; Manufacturing Business Model Application; Manufacturing process and product design and integration; Health and safety fundamentals; Supplier management.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
