Summary:
Program Clinicians will collaborate with treatment teams to provide individual and group supports for children on site.
Objectives:
Identify developmental delays, skills deficiency and/or social emotional challenges in children in Children Inc. Learning Center's care and provide resources for
early intervention and support.
Provide opportunities for an inclusive, neurodiverse, learning experience with peers for families in our community.
Provide education and resources for parents and family to best support children's success.
Other Duties & Responsibilities
Complete work orders for building maintenance as needed.
Place items back in their appropriate location when returning them to the resource room.
Participate in agency planning and functions as requested.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Must be a LMHC or LCSW
At least 25 years old.
Key Competencies:
Must be able to pass the required background checks, a drug test, and a negative TB test.
Agile enough to get on the floor with children and movement with children.
Knowledge of child growth and development and developmentally appropriated practices for the age of children in the class.
Ability to create word documents, flyers, presentations, spreadsheets, parent newsletters, calendars and other paperwork requiring some computer knowledge.
Ability to write grammatically correct correspondences.
Ability to speak to a small or large group of people.
Ability to de-escalate situations.
Ability to coach staff to improve performance and services to children.
Work Environment:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Keep space clean and organized.
Building and Classroom environment is adaptable to meet the needs of those with disabilities.
If using items of your own, those items are taken home when not in use.
Ensure a non-hostile, comfortable, safe work environment for staff free of harassment or gossiping.
Provide a variety of appropriate equipment, activities, and opportunities to promote the social/emotional development and self-regulation of the children.
Provide an environment in which children can learn and practice behaviors that are appropriate and acceptable individually and in a group.
Checks equipment; makes minor repairs; reports major repairs needed to Facilities/Maintenance Personnel.
Is aware of the potential impact of own attitudes and behaviors and makes appropriate adjustments to assure that communication and services are purposeful and appropriate.
Essential Duties:
Participate as a team member in the identification of social/behavioral challenges.
Design, implement, and monitor behavioral support/management programs and/or treatment plans for children.
Participate in family support meetings regularly and provide parent training opportunities targeting specific needs.
Provides individual and group sessions to children on a regular basis to include socialization activities (e.g., reality therapy, play therapy, etc.).
Develop and maintain psychosocial and behavioral data.
Assist other staff with crisis intervention as needed.
Develop and conduct in-service activities regarding techniques for behavioral, social or personal challenges for children.
Assist the teachers with the development of crisis prevention plans.
Provide training for teachers and staff to develop and improve behavior management skills and therapeutic support strategies.
Use diagnostic methods to identify children's' academic, social, emotional needs.
Meet all compliance criteria required for insurance provider billing.
Function as a leader who is cooperative and committed to the concept of team spirit; willing to share ideas, time and services, thereby helping others to achieve their very best.
Plan with Executive Director long term goals and expectations of staff and center.
Monitor the students' progress and confer with parents when needed to discuss the development of their children.
Attend community events to develop partnerships and collaborations in order to promote Children Inc. Learning Center and the importance of high, quality services.
Conduct 90 day and yearly evaluations on all staff supervised.
Use all available resources to ensure an effective operation and is a competent organizer, planner, and record keeper.
Set an example for all staff by following written agency policy and procedures.
Assist with other duties as assigned and work as a team member to assure the compliance is maintained throughout the agency.
Actively participate in agency trainings and meetings.
Maintain positive and collaborative relationships and communications with all staff by not actively participating in gossip or rumor spreading.
Respect all positions within the agency as they are all important to its success.
Ensure that all clients regardless of race, culture, primary language, or religious beliefs are treated equally and all needs are accommodated so that high quality services are provided to all.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
