Our client is a very prominent tier 1 automotive supplier actively pursuing a Sales Engineer/Account Manager due to the company's continued growth and profitablity. The Commercial Manager is looking to begin the interview process ASAP!
Responsibilities for the Sales Engineer
Account management focus with sales responsibilities with existing customers (John Deere, Cummins, Volvo, etc.).
Foster excellent rapport with customers by sharing technology and experience
Managing mulitple projects on various programs
Creating, editing, and maintaining business plans
Cost and control estimating that involves cost control and cost forecasting, investment appraisal, and risk analysis that support assessment and decison-making.
Budget, plan and monitor investment projects to seek the optimum balance between cost, quality and time requirements.
Requirements for the Sales Engineer
5+ years automotive expereince as a sales engineer/account manager role
BS in related engineering discipline and/or mangement; MS degree preferred
Strong financial background and understanding
5+ years experience developing and executing business plans
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple programs and customers simultaneously
Comfortable presenting plans, plan status, and other updates on programs to Executive team
Travel up to 25% of the time

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
