Quality Engineer

Our client, a global power leader, is currently seeking a Quality Engineer to work on the Corporate Purchasing-Sealing, Stamping and Fabrications Team. This is a 6 month CONTRACT assignment located in Columbus, IN. Local candidates only, no per diem available.
Responsibilities for the Quality Engineer
Support the SSF Quality Team in working through the backlog of PPAPs, SCARs, supplier improvement work and typical SQIE functions
Work with MiniTab, Metic Stream-CQMS and PLM
Requirements for the Quality Engineer
Technical degree required
Experience with PPAPs, Corrective Actions, APQP, FMEAs, and Control Plans
Understanding of AIAG industry requirements

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
