Labor And Employee Relations Applies knowledgeof key factors necessary to build and maintain positive employee relations andimplements practices that materialize these factors. Experienced consulting onstrategies and processes to ensure positive employee relations.
Benefits Design and Administration Has a goodunderstanding of benefits programs including the design, cost structure, andexperience answering employee questions.
Compensation Administration Possesses a goodunderstanding of pay structures and systems and how to apply that knowledgewhen making pay decisions. Determines job levels and slots jobs within thoselevels. Understands the impact of pay decisions on internal equity and externalcompetitiveness.
Conducting An Investigation Possesses in depthknowledge of business ethics policies and practices, and utilizes thatknowledge to determine the appropriate course of action. Recommends appropriateresolutions and follow up actions as a result of investigations, taking intoconsideration the organizational environment. Has experience training,coaching, developing and influencing others as it pertains to the investigationprocess.
Diversity Management Has a thoroughunderstanding of the spectrum of diversity as it practiced in the organization.Has experience in implementing and administering policies related todiversity.
Employment Law Consults at all levels of theorganization on issues and decisions that require extensive knowledge ofemployment laws.
Communication - Significant experience inwritten and verbal communication and should be capable of communicatingeffectively to all levels within and outside the company.
Human Resources Data Management UnderstandsHuman Resources information requirements. Able to perform data quality reviewsand take corrective actions to ensure data completeness and accuracy. Has afull understanding of information confidentiality requirements.
Labor Law Possesses a good understanding oflaws and practices affecting the relationship between labor andmanagement.
Organizational Development Possesses knowledgeof common Organizational Development theories and tools. Utilizes approaches toincrease organizational performance, such as benchmarking, scorecards, qualitymanagement, and team-based work systems.
Performance Management Has a goodunderstanding of organizational values and goals, translates them intoperformance standards and applies and leads others through this process.
Staffing Has a solid understanding of existingselection tools and effectively demonstrates the use of these tools in thestaffing process.
Skillsand Experience Required:
Partners with business and human resourcesfunctional leadership in the planning and implementation of human resourcesinitiatives and policies for the organization.
Leads a broad range of human resources processesand is responsible for overall operational effectiveness and compliance withcompany policies and applicable legislation.
Partners with managers and employees to resolveissues and concerns.
Establishes strategies with business leaders toselect and retain the diverse talent required to maintain a competitiveadvantage and to align with recruiting strategies.
Collaborates with business leadership totranslate current and future business goals and develops initiatives andtactics to meet business objectives in alignment with overall human resourcesstrategies and processes.
Resolves conflicts and provides coaching andcounseling on human resources matters for functional or organizationalleadership.
Conducts and documents investigations forbusiness organizations or functional areas.
Provides employee development expertise, supportsystems and processes focused on continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
Implements and supports work systems and anenvironment that allows employees to achieve high performance.
Ensures compliance with key governmentlegislative requirements and adherence to human resources policies andprocedures.
Ensures accuracy and completeness of workforceinformation in human resources information systems.
Measures and analyzes key performance indicatorsto deliver functional and business performance improvements related to humanresource investments.
Communicates and consults on all areas of humanresources including compensation, benefits, staffing, organizationaldevelopment, employee relations, and performance management in alignment withcommon human resources strategies and processes.
Coaches and mentors direct reports; assigns workaccording to availability, skills, and developmental needs; assessesperformance and provides feedback to direct reports.
7 years of significant relevant work experiencerequired.
Required Education, Licenses orCertifications
College, university, or equivalent degree inHuman Resources, Business, or related field required.
Compensationand Benefits

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
